On the inception of this site

June 7, 2026

This site began as a static professional portfolio during a period of career transition. However, as I delved deeper into urbanism, I felt a pull to transform the site into a living archive of thought and action.

The essence of this work is captured by a sentiment attributed to Albert Camus:

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”

To me, the ‘unfree world’ is often found in rigid urban systems that prioritize efficiency over human experience. True rebellion, then, is not just thinking differently, but building differently, too. The urban tools and civic resources featured on this site are designed to be instruments of that freedom. I want my work to empower individuals to reclaim their cities and help shape their communities. In this way, the tools I build become an act of defiance against the status quo.

This site will stay up to house and map the various civic technology projects I undertake and to document that process. As these projects grow and adapt, this space will remain dedicated to my ideas and to the truth that our cities belong to us.

Welcome to my site.
